About KTM AG
Johann (Hans) Trunkenpolz was an Austrian (Europe) engineer who had set up a shop for repairing and selling DKW motorcycles in 1934 by the name of Kraftfahrzeug Trunkenpolz Mattighofen (KTM). Due to fewer demands for repair and the market drop during and after second world war he started thinking about producing his own Bikes. The prototype of his first bike R100 was developed in 1951. It went through multiple acquisitions and ownership since then it has become a pioneer in the off-road motorcycles sector worldwide.
KTM AG is a corporation formed in 1992 owned by CROSS KraftFahrZeug Holding GmbH (51,28 %) and Bajaj Auto Limited International Holdings B.V. (47,99 %). KTM AG is the largest corporation of producing off-road motorcycles throughout the world. It is the largest manufacturer of motorcycles in Europe. KTM AG produces Off-road motorcycles, Motocross, Cross-Country, enduro, free ride.

1. KTM 790 Duke 2019
The 790 Duke will be the most powerful motorcycle from KTM to be sold in our country and is expected to be priced at around Rs 8 to 8.5 lakh (on-road). It will compete against four-cylinder rivals such as the Suzuki GSX-S750 and the Kawasaki Z900, which are priced at Rs 7.46 lakh and Rs 7.68 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) respectively. The 790 Duke will also be the first KTM motorcycle in India to be brought via the CKD route, as rest of the KTM bikes are manufactured in India.
In terms of styling, the 790 Duke is similar to the 390 Duke, but has larger dimensions and different frame, wheels, exhaust and tail-section.
